Friday Finds: Purple and White

My husband told me recently that he likes me best in purple and white. Purple has always been one of my favorite colors, and I had my bedroom in shades of purple (and blue) for several years. It was also one of the colors of my alma mater! I'm only getting used to wearing white. I've always been more of a "black" girl. *lol*

I've always felt like I looked best in jewel tones (sapphire, ruby, emerald, turquoise, teal, amethyst, etc.). My mama always told me I looked great in red, and for awhile, I also wore a lot of pink. I've learned, over the years, that you can wear any color so long as you wear the shade appropriate for you skin, hair, eye tones. I've moved more towards earthy (and jewel!) tones than brights (unless jewel tones!) or pastels.

I really love the heart banner and vintage apron, and I could totally see the "Stay Calm and Drink Tea" print in my house someday, along with the Dr. Seuss frame for a baby! (How appropriate since his birthday was this week, yes?) I also adore hydrangeas on anything.
